Over three hundred people were honoured, bringing the community together and recognising the career paths that have underpinned the organisation’s growth. The event took place at the Auditorium della Tecnica, the Confindustria System Lifetime Achievement Awards Ceremony. The 2026 edition, which involved 317 award winners from 81 associations, at an event which, year on year, renews the bond between the various parts of the System.

A tribute to the people of the Confindustria system

More than just a ceremony, it is an opportunity to come together and strengthen the sense of belonging to a community that, over time, has forged a shared identity, relationships and values. It is a moment that recognises the contribution of those who, across different regions and within the various branches of the association, have supported the development of the Confindustria system and its member companies.

The list of award winners also includes colleagues from Confindustria and Confindustria Servizi – Francesca Antonaci, Susanna Armani, Alessia Bausano, Marco Meloni, Maria Carla Moglia, Martina Mondelli, Giuliana Ricci, Roberto Vincenti, Luca De Angelis, Antonio Di Gravio and Silvana Renzetti – as well as thirteen System Directors, whose career paths have reflected the growth and evolution of the organisation over the years.

Orsini: “Supporting businesses means creating prosperity”

In his speech, the President of Confindustria Emanuele Orsini He emphasised the value of the people who, through their expertise, dedication and commitment, support the organisation’s work on a daily basis, strengthening its relationship with businesses:

“Behind every year of work lies a story of expertise, dedication and daily commitment. It is these people who hold the System together, who preserve its history and who, through their daily contributions, shape its future.”

A value which the President linked to the broader significance of Confindustria’s work and to its responsibility towards the country:

“We wouldn’t be here without you. Because it is thanks to you that we are able to support our businesses every day. And supporting businesses means supporting the prosperity of this country. The protection and defence of Italian businesses must always go hand in hand with the ability to generate prosperity. And we all build that prosperity together.”.

Tarquini: “Thank you to everyone who contributes to the country’s growth”

The Director-General, too Maurizio Tarquini highlighted the significance of the day as one of the occasions when the whole system comes together:

“It is not often that we see the entire Confindustria system come together: colleagues, associations, directors, and the professional and personal stories that, over time, have helped our organisation, the business community and the country to grow. These are moments that allow us to pause, look each other in the eye and say thank you to those who have dedicated a significant part of their professional lives to this community.”

The Director-General also wished to extend his thanks to the business community and to acknowledge the value of the shared journey built up over time:

“Thanks to the entrepreneurs and the Confindustria network who have placed their trust in many of us and enabled us not only to do a good job, but also to contribute, each in our own way, to the growth of this system and of the country. A community that renews itself over time without losing its memory.”.

From memory to the System’s community

Alongside the ceremony, the Auditorium foyer also hosted an area dedicated to the History of Confindustria, using material from the’Historical Archive and a selection of historic medals from the lifetime achievement awards from 1945 to the present day.
