Rome, 28 March 2026 - Last night's Council of Ministers left a serious knot for the production system unresolved: the absence of resources for the exodus workers linked to the Transition 5.0 plan is a signal that cannot be ignored. This was stated by the president of Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini.
We learn with great concern about the lack of resources allocated to the exodus workers linked to the Transition 5.0 plan. This is a crucial issue that cannot be postponed or downgraded.
This is why we urgently call for the opening of a round table as early as next week with Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, Enterprise and Made in Italy Minister Adolfo Urso and European Affairs Minister Tommaso Foti.
It is imperative that what was agreed last 27 November be confirmed: the resources for the 5.0 exodus workers must be fully maintained. The credibility of the commitments made is a fundamental element.
The trust between institutions and the production system cannot be broken. A clear, rapid and consistent response is needed on this point.
