From bench to enterprise is the initiative with which Confindustria Piacenza supports high school students who have an idea and want to understand whether it can become a real business project. It is not just “inspiration”: it is an accompanying path that helps young people focus on the problem they want to solve, define a value proposition, understand who they are addressing and what steps are needed to get going.
Students are followed with tutoring and practical tools, and they can engage with the business world to test the idea, receive feedback and build useful contacts. The aim is to transform curiosity and creativity into skills: working in a team, presenting a project, reasoning about economic sustainability and organisation, up to setting the foundations of a possible startup.
A concrete way to bring enterprise culture into schools and let people discover, “by doing”, what it means to innovate.
