Building 2030 is a project resulting from the cooperation between companies, the bilateral training system and the Job Centre, with a clear objective: to reduce the gap between labour demand and supply in the construction sector and to create new opportunities for young people.
The starting point is the real needs of companies, gathered through an analysis of professional requirements. Based on these, the Job Centre activates a selection process aimed at young people and jobseekers, identifying the most suitable profiles and accompanying them on a path to employment.
The selected candidates then access targeted and free training courses, designed on the basis of the skills required by the companies. At the end of the training, participants have the concrete possibility of being placed in companies in the area, thus favouring a qualified and stable entry into the sector.
The project represents an innovative model of cooperation between institutions and companies: it not only responds to the shortage of skilled labour, but also contributes to enhancing the value of construction work, which is increasingly specialised and full of opportunities for the new generations.
“Building 2030” demonstrates how targeted training, listening to companies and accompanying them to work can generate a concrete impact on the territory, creating employment and development.
