The revision of Regulation 883/2004 on the coordination of social security systems: an analysis of the main changes

Confindustria organises webinar “The revision of Regulation 883/2004 on the coordination of social security systems: an analysis of the main changes”, which will be held on 2 July 2026, from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm.

The initiative aims to provide a an in-depth analysis of the revision of Regulation (EC) No 883/2004 on the coordination of social security systems in the European Union, with a particular focus on the key aspects of interest to businesses and workers involved in cross-border activities. The aim of the meeting is to examine in depth the latest developments and interpretative guidelines regarding cross-border postings, with a focus on notification procedures and the relevant exceptions, as well as to analyse the issues surrounding the applicable legislation in cases of multiple-activities and the portability of unemployment benefits, highlighting the operational implications and potential impacts for companies and workers.

The programme will feature an opening event organised by Paola Astorri, Senior Social Affairs Professional, Confindustria, followed by the speaker’s address, Francesco Corti, Member of the Cabinet of Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Competences, Quality Jobs and Skills.

Finally, there will be a closing Q&A session open to participants.
