With the EU–Mercosur Agreement coming into force on 1 May, a crucial window of opportunity has opened up for Italian exports: the removal of tariff and non-tariff barriers represents an immediate competitive advantage for our businesses in target markets.

To support our SMEs in successfully establishing a presence in the Argentine and Brazilian markets, Confindustria – in collaboration with ICE-Agenzia and with the involvement of 5 federations and 14 trade associations – has organised a series of five smart webinar sector-specific categories named: “Mercosur Route: looking ahead to the September mission to Argentina and Brazil”. The format is concise and practical: short, focused sessions designed to provide participants with concrete and immediately applicable information on market scenarios, regulations, bureaucratic complexities and how to enter the two economies.

The webinars are preparatory to the Confindustria System Business Mission, led by President Orsini, is scheduled to take place from 7 to 11 September, with three stops – Buenos Aires (7–8), São Paulo (9–10) and Brasília (11) – and a return to Italy on 13 September.
