Why participate: Snapshots Malaysia

Among the 10 ASEAN countries, the Malaysian market is the 4th destination of our exports in 2025 (absorbing 14.8% of total exports to the region) and the 4th country of origin of our imports (12.3%). As emerges from the ExPAnD portal of Confindustria, to this picture is added a untapped export potential to Malaysia of more than EUR 400 million (24.5% of total exports in 2024), with a long-term growth projection estimated at further 2 billion of euro.

Strategic location, strong international openness, solid infrastructure, abundance of natural resources, and a dynamic and diversified economy are among the strategic elements that expand business and collaboration opportunities in the priority sectors identified in Malaysia's development plans, which include digital and energy transition, circular economy, physical and digital infrastructure, advanced mechanics, robotics, transport, aerospace and high quality goods.
