L’Agenzia esecutiva per il clima, le infrastrutture e l’ambiente (CINEA) ha pubblicato the new calls of the LIFE Programme, the only one specifically dedicated to the environment and climate action.

Il sottoprogramma «Mitigazione e adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici» intende sviluppare e diffondere soluzioni innovative per sostenere le politiche climatiche dell’UE, contribuendo agli obiettivi europei di neutralità climatica entro il 2050, riduzione delle emissioni di almeno il 55% entro il 2030 e definizione del target 2040, e promuovendo resilienza e adattamento climatici.

The call for proposals includes the following topics:

• Climate Change Mitigation: finances projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote low-carbon solutions in key sectors.
• Climate Change AdaptationIt supports interventions that increase resilience to climate change and reduce the risks associated with extreme events or long-term impacts.
• Climate Change Governance and InformationIt promotes initiatives that strengthen climate governance, public participation and the dissemination of knowledge and good practices.

Le proposte devono riguardare solo uno di questi topic. I candidati che desiderano candidarsi per più di un topic, devono presentare una proposta separata per ognuno di essi.

Il budget complessivo è di 60 000 000.

La scadenza del bando è il 22 settembre 2026, ore 17:00 (Bruxelles).
