Vincenzo Marinese was born in Palermo in 1968.
After graduation, he completed his education in Minnesota at Hamline University and at Luiss at the School of Management for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
In 1994, it acquired STA, today the Italian Company for Environmental and Infrastructural Rehabilitation, where it began its entrepreneurial activity. During all these years, the company experienced significant growth and became a leader in the environmental and industrial remediation sector thanks to continuous and constant investment in the use of technology.
Very committed to his work, he decided to devote his passion to his adopted city, Venice, where he also started attending the local association.
In 2017 he became President of Confindustria Venezia e Rovigo and in 2018 he joined the Board of Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
In 2018 he joined the Board of the Venice and Rovigo Chamber of Commerce. In 2019 he joins the Board of Directors of the Venice Foundation, in 2020 he becomes its Vice President, and in 2024 he assumes the position of President.
In 2019 he was awarded the Honour of Merit for Labour by the National Consortium of Saints Crispin and Crispinianus. Since 2020 he has held the position of National Vice President of RetImpresa.
In 2022, he was awarded the Golden Lion for professional merits, and was honoured as the best Venetian of the year. In the same year, he completed the merger project with Assindustria Veneto Centro, forming the second territorial branch of Confindustria.
He has been a member of the General Council of Confindustria since 2011.
