Renato Mazzoncini, CEO and General Manager of A2A since May 2020, is an electronic engineer and professor at Politecnico di Milano.

With a career spanning strategic sectors, he led companies like Gruppo FS, Italy’s national railway company.

Expert on climate change, E-Mobility, energy transformation, smart and green cities, he co-authored 'RoadMap to 2050' presented at COP 25 and in 2021, he authored "Inversione a E", on individual behaviors and technological development for sustainable mobility.

He serves as VP of Elettricità Futura, on Confindustria Brescia's General Council, Utilitalia’s Listed Companies Committee, and Fondazione Politecnico di Milano's Founders’ Assembly.
