Pietro Labriola is CEO and General Manager of TIM. Confirmed at the helm of the Group for the second consecutive term, he has also been a member of the Sustainability Committee since April 2024.
He is a member of the board of GSMA, the association that brings together mobile network operators from all over the world, and of the General Council of Confindustria where, since May 2024, he has been in charge of Digital Transition. He is also president of Asstel and TIM representative on the General Council of Aspen Institute Italia, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Institute of Oncology and of the High Council of the SPES Academy. In August 2025 he was co-opted as a non-executive director on the board of Natuzzi.
In March 2023 he was awarded the Ordem do Rio Branco, an honour granted by the Brazilian government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for TIM's important role in strengthening ties between the two nations. In 2023 and 2024 he received the Best CEO-Small&Mid Cap award from Institutional Investor, and in December 2023 he received the Rio Leaders Award, the main recognition given by Lide, the Brazilian association that brings together entrepreneurs and managers in the South American country.
In Brazil, he led TIM from 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and then from 2019 as CEO, and drove its growth by consolidating its development path with the acquisition of Oi and 5G licences, making a decisive contribution to the digital development of one of the most vital countries. With the TIM Group since 2001, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in the area of Marketing for the business and consumer segments of fixed and mobile telephony services.
In 2006, he was also appointed Managing Director of Matrix and in 2013 he took over responsibility for the Business Transformation function.
Before joining the TIM Group, Labriola worked at Infostrada since 1996, first as business development director and then as marketing director, and previously held positions at Boston Consulting Group, Cable&Wireless and France Telecom.
Pietro Labriola holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bari and a Master's degree in Innovation and Technology Management from Tecnopolis, Science and Technology Park in Bari.
