This is accompanied by the drive towards a more modern regulation of work, oriented towards people's employability, the protection of safety and towards sustainable and fair welfare.
Enhancing quality collective bargaining
Recognise the importance of employer representation of truly representative contractual agents, on the basis of objective criteria that capture the effectiveness of the relationship between companies and associations.
Clearer labour regulation and a more dynamic labour market.
We work to ensure that European and national labour regulations meet criteria of certainty and transparency, including in the area of health and safety. We support effective policies and instruments for employment transition paths, for the continuation of activities and the safeguarding of workers' skills.
Full participation in economic and social life.
Confindustria contributes to the definition of social inclusion and sustainability policies, and to the creation of a fair welfare system that provides real coverage for workers and does not disproportionately burden companies. We promote responsible business conduct and knowledge of relevant international standards.
