Institutional Relations

This Department fosters ongoing dialogue with key national institutional decision-makers to responsibly and transparently contribute to the development of proposals that prioritize the protection of the productive system’s interests, ensuring a clear, certain, and stable regulatory framework over time.

It promotes awareness among public decision-makers as to strategic issues for businesses and the socio-economic development of the country, creating consensus on values and corporate culture.

The department liaises between Confindustria's activities and the parliament, with the aim of promoting industry-related issues, participating in the democratic process, and ensuring better regulation.

Camilla Sciacca

Graduated with honors in Law from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in 2006, she became a lawyer in 2008 following her legal practice in administrative law. After a brief stint in the Legal Department of AlmaViva, in 2009, she joined Autostrade per l'Italia, where she initially dealt with legislative analysis and institutional monitoring. Since 2015, she has held the position of Head of Parliamentary Relations. During these years, she oversaw crucial dossiers for the Group, fostering strategic dialogue and interaction with public decision-makers. In 2020, she became in charge of Local Authorities Relations and diligently furthered a specific engagement plan with key territorial stakeholders, fostering structured and continuous communication.

In October 2023, she was appointed Head of the Institutional Relations Department at Confindustria.
