International Affairs

Based on the geopolitical and geoeconomic trends, this Department’s activity aims to monitor global markets, their governance and regulatory frameworks, the promotion of ‘Made in Italy’ products across the world and make Italy a palatable country for foreign investments.

In this context, the Department deals with Confederation’s relations with many national, European and international stakeholders, both public and private, while also coordinating the participation of System experts in industrial consulting bodies and entities at multilateral organisations.

The Department also devises measures aimed at enhancing economic relations in consolidated and emerging markets, supporting industrial cooperation and strategic investments, in and for Italy, while promoting the excellences on the Italian territory.

Furthermore the Department coordinates Confindustria’s representation offices in extra-European countries.
