"A beautiful village to live in"is the project of the Technical Group for Culture of Confindustria for inland areas with high cultural and entrepreneurial potential. Launched in 2021, its aim is to give an economic and cultural impetus to those areas suffering from depopulation and denationalisation.  

These realities are now protagonists of a renewed visibility also thanks to the PNRR which, with the 'attractiveness of villages' line of action and more than one billion euro largely already allocated, is concretely supporting the economic and social development of areas furthest from large cities, focusing on the regeneration of small towns and tourism, but also on the valorisation of the cultural and creative supply chain that animates them.

Confindustria - through the Culture GT - has decided to actively participate in this great economic revival operation. Together with the Italian Touring Club, starting in 2021, a number of realities have been identified, which will host roadshow stages to stimulate the comparison of the best local productive energies. The objective is to activate a path of growth and development with a cultural and industrial traction, in which the public and private systems work side by side for the development of the territory.

Today, 24 March 2023, the historic village of Sassello in Liguria hosts the fourth stage. This reality, in addition to its history, can boast several companies that, despite logistical complexities, have managed to strengthen their presence also in international markets. Moreover, this area confirms how public-private collaboration is a driver of growth and a strategic lever for the development of the entire territory.
