The thirty-fourth edition of the 'Marisa Bellisario' award is about to kick off, the event organised by the Marisa Bellisario Foundation which, in partnership with Confindustria, has decided to incentivise virtuous companies once again this year by awarding the 'Work Life Balance Friendly Company' Award.

The call is aimed at large companies with more than 250 employees, an annual turnover of more than EUR 50 million and an annual balance sheet total of more than EUR 43 million, which have distinguished themselves in the field of gender equality and in the Enhancing the role of women in business and the economyby implementing concrete and innovative policies, such as the promotion of development plans, STEM training, initiatives and projects for the enhancement of women's careers, equal pay, presence of women in top positions, and so on.

This is an important recognition that aims to enhance gender equality not only in the workplace but above all, human and social. In an ever-changing world, it is crucial for our companies to be part of this evolution in a direct and inclusive way.

The Commission will examine the applications and proclaim the Great Enterprise 'Work Life Balance Friendly CompanyThe Award ceremony will be held in Rome and will be broadcast on 18 June 2022 on Rai1. Companies that believe they meet one or more of the requirements may apply by sending the following documents:

• brief description of the company, indication of sector of activity, number of employees, turnover, annual balance sheet total;
• short summary sheet highlighting by points the relevant elements of compliance with the requirements;
• brief summary of recent initiatives implemented by the company;
• budgets or sustainability reports.
