The project "Capital of enterprise culture' is about to turn five years old. For theedition 2024 In particular, there is a stronger focus on a design that, while not losing the identity trait of the territory, does not lose sight of the national framework of the initiative.
La Capital of enterprise culture should be, as in previous editions, the place where business and its culture are promoted through moments of meeting and discussion open to exponents and topics in line with the evolution of the national and international debate.
The initiative was launched in 2019 by the Cultural Technical Group of Confindustria and is reserved for the Associations of the Confindustria System.
The protagonists are enterprises, territories and communities. The aim is to stimulate association planning and bring out the strength, both economic and social, of the encounter between culture, enterprise and territory. This is a way to tell the story of our enterprises, through initiatives and events that take place for a good part of the year, and also to give visibility to the transformation processes that affect the way of doing business today. It is also an effective way to strengthen the territorial network, dialogue with institutions, and to put young people at the centre with initiatives dedicated to training and the growth of the relationship with business.
The "Capital of enterprise culture' has established itself in recent years as one of the leading actions for the innovative promotion of corporate culture. Started by Genoa, in 2019, to date has made stops in Alba, Venice-Padua-Treviso-Rovigo and Pavia.
Although it is not possible to draw a unique identikit of the 'Capital', it can certainly be said that it is an urban district that has transformed and continues to evolve mainly around its business system, following the directions of change stimulated by the entrepreneurial system, which is also attentive and sensitive to collective needs.
To compete for the title, associations must submit an application dossier with an accurate description of the city or urban district, an indication of the project partners (local authorities, enterprises or networks of enterprises, institutions, foundations, etc.) and the programme of initiatives to be developed during the year. Applications that invest on a high level of collective participation, specific activities for the involvement of schools and the orientation of young people, an ad hoc communication plan, a high level of creative and multidisciplinary planning will be positively evaluated.e.
To participate in the 2024 edition there will be time until 30 September 2023 and the award ceremony will take place, as usual, at the Small Industry Forum in November, which, since the first edition, has been held at the current venue in the capital. For 2023 it will therefore be Pavia.
