Today at the Inail headquarters in Via IV Novembre, the award ceremony of the eighth edition of the 'Premio Imprese per la Sicurezza 2023' (Enterprise Award for Safety 2023), organised by Confindustria and INAIL, with the technical collaboration of APQI - Italian Quality Award Association and ACCREDIA - Italian Accreditation Bodyto disseminate corporate culture for the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety levels.

The Prize is open to all companies, including those not belonging to the Confindustria system, and was awarded, according to the score achieved (the highest band was awarded the Award and then the Prize), to categories of companies distinguished by type of risk and size, following a lengthy evaluation process that also included company visits. In addition, Special Mentions were awarded to companies that developed specific projects.

Awards are given to the most virtuous projects, which can serve as reference models for continuous improvement of the management processes of the health and safety.

After drawing up a list of the best companies, following the completion of questionnaires and visits to the companies, using an innovative model, the Technical and Scientific Committee - made up of experts from Confindustria, Inail, APQI and Accredia - identified a shortlist of finalists from which the Award Committee (made up of representatives from the business, institutional and academic worlds) chose the prize winners.

L'Award was awarded to: Diasen Srl (Design and production of thermal, acoustic, waterproofing, dehumidifying and special coatings for residential, industrial and sports facilities); Siot Spa (Reception and transportation of petroleum liquids by pipelines); Maersk H2S Safety Services Italy Srl (Provision of safety supervision and monitoring services of hazardous gases and of suspected polluted or confined sites for 'gas free' certification, etc.).

I 7 Prize were delivered to: Chemetall Italy Srl (Production of detergents and pre-treatment technologies, and worldwide supplier of various products for the automotive industry.); Rotork Instruments Italy Srl (Manufacture and marketing of flow control and electromechanical products); Remosa Srl (Design, manufacture, repair, retrofit and service of valves for FCC Expander systems); Caterpillar Road Products Srl (Manufacture of machinery for mining, quarrying and construction) Cooperativa Edile Appennino Srl (Civil and industrial buildings, infrastructure works, construction and maintenance); Dompé Farmaceutici Spa (Production of synthetic drugs; Intercos Europe Spa (Production and marketing of cosmetics and skin and hair care products).
