Confindustria has always believed that the most effective way to counter the phenomenon of sexual harassment in the workplace is, first and foremost, to create an appropriate prevention network.
In this sense, it would be appropriate to envisage, first of all, a strengthening of anti-violence centres and their specialisation. 
The Social Partners have responsibly set out on a path to address and counteract the phenomenon of violence and harassment in the workplace in the sense now desired. This is done both through sectoral collective bargaining and through general interconfederal agreements. In particular, the agreement concluded on this matter in 2016 between Confindustria and CGIL, CISL, UIL, in implementation of the 2007 European Framework Agreement, goes in this direction.
