As part of the activities of the SME Cyber Index Project, promoted by Confindustria in partnership with Generali, National Cybersecurity Agency and with scientific support of the Cybersecurity & Data Protection Observatory of the School of Management of Milan Polytechnic, The third edition of the “Cyber Index SME” Report was launched and concluded.

The objective was to measure the level of maturity, culture and awareness of cyber risk in Italian SMEs.

The initiative was created to support companies in understanding and addressing cyber risk exposure in a structured manner, encouraging more conscious choices in the protection, monitoring and control of business processes, as well as in evaluating the most appropriate technological and organisational solutions for cyber risk management.

The completion of the Survey “SME Cyber Index - 2025”allowed for an analysis of the overall trend of cyber risk management in Italian SMEs, identifying its evolution over time and enabling a comparison with the data collected in previous editions of the Report.
