SME Day

SME Day is the National Day of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises promoted by Small Industry Confindustria to bring young people closer to the world of enterprise and local trades. Born in 2010, project arrived in the 2025 to the 16th edition and is held as part of the Enterprise Culture Week.

At the heart of the initiative are the company visitsSMEs open their doors to students and teachers to give them an up-close look at production departments, technologies, processes and people who transform ideas into products and services every day. Alongside the visits, there are opportunities for discussions with entrepreneurs and workers and orientation activities that help girls and boys to choose their study path and future opportunities with greater awareness.

SME Day is a national project that comes to life thanks to the many initiatives of the Territorial Associations of Confindustria, and they apply it in their respective communities and production chains. Thanks to their commitment, the initiative continues to grow and generate concrete encounters between school and business, reaching ever larger numbers.
