It is good that concrete measures are being taken to support families and businesses, but above all that a broader and more structural vision of industrial policy for our country is beginning to be outlined.

At the same time, we must monitor that these measures do not affect the development of the Italian energy sector.
We believe it is essential to continue working together with the government, including at the European level, so that the issue of ETS costs, which have a significant impact on the final price of energy, is tackled with determination. It is necessary to open a constructive debate with the European Union to ensure rules that accompany the transition without penalising the competitiveness of our industrial fabric.
