Rome, 19 October 2023 - As of today, the role of Director General of Confindustria is taken over by Raffaele Langella, a career diplomat since 1995. During his career, he has dealt with issues related to the internationalisation of companies: in Geneva as a negotiator on services and intellectual property in the context of the World Trade Organisation and in Delhi as a trade advisor. From 2009 to 2013 he was in charge of communication at the Representation of Italy to the European Union and from 2013 to 2017 he worked in the Office of the Diplomatic Counsellor at Palazzo Chigi, ending this experience as Deputy Diplomatic Counsellor. In December 2021, he joined Confindustria, as Director of the International Affairs Area. With his professional experience, Raffaele Langella represents a guarantee in the relationship with Confindustria's institutional interlocutors.
