CONFINDUSTRIA: PRIVATE ASSEMBLY RENEWS GENERAL COUNCIL AND APPROVES BALANCE SHEET
 

Rome, 30 May 2023 - The private assembly of Confindustria elected 20 general representatives in the General Council of the Association for the two-year period 2023-2025 and 15 Arbitrators and 5 Auditors for the period 2023-2027.
The nominations received from the system were verified and validated by the Council for Ethics and Associative Values and by the Special Board of Arbitrators of Confindustria with regard to the possession of the requirements provided for by the confederal regulations.
Two different constituencies were used to elect the twenty general representatives: large enterprises, foreign multinational enterprises and network enterprises belonging to the confederal system with a national convention (15 seats) and medium-sized enterprises (5 seats).
 
Those elected are: Antonioli Pierpaolo; Bertin Walter; Boschi Umberto; Bossi Stefano; Bracco Diana; Carbonato Gianfranco; Ferraris Luigi; Folgiero Pierroberto; Franceschetti Maria Chiara; Guindani Pietro; Manoukian Aram; Mona Claudia Francesca; Nieri Gina; Ottolenghi Guido; Peretti Aldo; Tripi Alberto; Tronchetti Provera Marco; Vietti Giovanni; Zanetti Matteo; Zelcher Renato Stefano.
 
Voting was by secret ballot, necessarily in physical presence but electronically through the Eligo platform.
 
The private assembly of Confindustria also unanimously approved the Budget 2022: there was an operating and financial surplus of EUR 2.6 million, an improvement on both the Budget for the period and the 2021 Budget. During the financial year, the organisation continued to implement important actions to rationalise the main management costs, which led to a budget result of EUR 35.4 million in Total Expenses, a reduction of 24% compared to 2004, the first year under review.
