Organs
Assembly
The highest representative body of the membership base, the Assembly is composed of the Presidents of all the Organisations forming the Confederal System. It meets in ordinary convocation at least twice a year. It elects the President of Confindustria, the Vice-Presidents, twenty members of the General Council, the Arbitrators and the Auditors. It is the body in charge of approving statutory amendments.
Council of Presidents (COPRE)
It is the body that defines organisational actions and strategies for the realisation of the association's purposes. It consists of the President, the Vice Presidents elected by the Assembly and the Vice Presidents by right respectively elected by the Small Industry, the Young Entrepreneurs and the Regional Representatives Council.
General Council (COGE)
It is the Confederation's political steering body. It designates the presidential team for the assembly vote and performs a function of connection and coordination between the top management and the associative base, with decision-making powers on all matters of interest to Confindustria. All the various branches of the system (territories, sectors, general representatives, Small Industry and Young Entrepreneurs) are represented in it.
Governing Council (CODIR)
It is the forum for the elaboration of medium and long-term strategies and positioning on all areas of action that qualify confederal representation. The Executive Council consists of the members of the Presidential Council, the Past Presidents of Confindustria and members appointed by the confederal President.
Arbitrators
They interpret the confederal rules, supervise electoral passages and have disciplinary powers in the event of conduct in conflict with the association's rules. They provide arbitration for internal organisational disputes.
Audits
They supervise the economic and financial management of Confindustria and draw up the report accompanying the annual budget.
Council of Regional Representations and for Territorial Cohesion Policies (CRR)
It is the body that brings together the Presidents of the Regional Confindustrias and Territorial Associations with a regional scope. The CRR has the function of coordinating the strategic priorities of the different territorial areas and formulates guidelines and proposals to the General Council.
Board of Ethics and Association Values
The Council of Ethics and Associative Values performs functions of presiding over and implementing the ethical-value principles of the system, including verification and accompaniment initiatives in the process of renewing the confederal presidency. Its members are the President of Confindustria, the General Council and the Arbitrators.
Technical Groups
They are technical-consultative bodies that support and assist the President's Council and the General Council in the in-depth study of issues of particular and specific interest. Their composition is a qualified expression of the membership base: representatives of companies associated with the system may participate.
