Matteo Carlo Borsani

Director

After studying Political Science in Pavia and a Masters in Community Policies in Strasbourg, he settled in Brussels where he joined the Confindustria Delegation to the EU in 2004. In the following years, he was responsible for relations with the European Parliament and for policies relating to the internal market, with particular reference to the free movement of goods and services, intellectual property, public procurement and standardisation, as well as organising seminars on European affairs and visits by the Confindustria System to Brussels. In 2018, he became Director of the Delegation to the EU. He is a member of the European Economic and Social Committee and an adjunct professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
