Over 1,300 companies, 750 schools and more than 50,000 students involved in the 16th edition
The 16th PMI Day, the National Small and Medium Enterprises Day promoted by Small Industry Confindustria together with the Territorial Associations. The initiative, dedicated to bringing together businesses and the world of education, involves this year more than 1,300 companies, 750 schools and more than 50,000 young people in company visits and orientation activities throughout Italy.
The theme of 2025
The theme of the 2025 edition is "Choose“an invitation for students to reflect on the value of decisions that guide their personal and professional future. Through meetings and testimonies, the SME share experiences, entrepreneurial paths and skills with young people, helping to bridge the gap between training and work. Since 2010, the project has involved over 600,000 studentsconfirming itself as one of the main moments of dialogue between the production system and the new generations.
At the event territorial associations of the system adhere and numerous supply chain realities, with renewed collaborations with Confagricoltura in various territories. PMI Day also maintains a strong international vocation, with initiatives in Brazil, the USA, Albania and Bulgaria thanks to the diplomatic-consular network and the foreign representations of Confindustria.

The SME Day is part of the Week of Enterprise Culture and in the European Week SMEs of the European Commission, with the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Meritof the Conference of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
