Encouraging girls to undertake scientific studies and promoting gender equality in work sectors traditionally occupied by men. This is the aim of the STEAMiamoci project, launched in 2016 on the initiative of Assolombarda, which evolves and becomes a real association within the Confindustria system.

The name recalls the now famous acronym - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics - to which the A for Art is added, in the belief that technical-scientific disciplines, enriched by creativity, encompass all forms of knowledge and expression.

With the contribution of 57 Confindustria System associations, 15 municipalities, 10 universities and 16 foundations, the association today represents a national benchmark in the promotion of initiatives to foster female employment and support the training of girls, girls and young women in STEAM studies and careers.
