Today in Rome, Unindustria held the award ceremony for the winners of the competition "Circular Economy Best Performer 2022on the occasion of the last stage of the Innovation Days, the roadshow organised by Confindustria and Sole 24 Ore to engage companies on innovation and sustainability issues.

The competition, now in its fourth edition, is conceived by Confindustria with the support of 4.Manager, in cooperation with Enel X and Eni and with the technical support of Sistemi Formativi Confindustria.

The aim of the competition is to highlight and valorise the companies that have best grasped the spirit and business opportunities offered by the circular economy model in the various phases of the production cycle. A testimony that confirms how the circular economy is a challenge to achieve a competitive advantage that also generates a positive impact in environmental, energy and economic terms.

Among the many entries in this edition, the best projects in the field of circular economy and sustainability included the initiatives implemented by the Industrial Associationsincreasingly active in supporting the green transition path of companies.

The winning companies will receive two exclusive prizes provided by Enel X and Eni:

• the Circular Economy Report by Enel Xwhich will allow a detailed measurement of the company's current level of circularity and propose a roadmap of innovative solutions to increase it, resulting in environmental, energy and economic savings;
• participation in the Eni's Circular Bootcamp, 18 to 20 January 2023 at the Eni training centre in Castel Gandolfo (RM), which will gather the winners of the competition in a 3-day training and discussion event to pool initiatives and ideas in the field of circular economy.
