Confindustriatogether with theItalian Banking Association (ABI) and the other associations representing companies participating in the TInter-Association Coordination Committee on International Regulatory Initiatives, have defined the Guidelines on the Suspension of Bank Loan Installments.

In order to enable companies to handle any situations of temporary financial difficulty with greater awareness, the Guidelines provide useful elements to guide them on the procedures to follow when dealing with banks and on the framework of the relevant banking rules.

The Guidelines also set out, in agreement with the Guarantee Fund for SMEs, ISMEA and SACE, the terms and conditions for obtaining the extension of the guarantees provided by the latter on loans for which the suspension of instalment repayment is requested.
