On 9 March, in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the pilot project "Companies from Belluno in the World', organised by Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti and in collaboration with the Associazione bellunesi nel Mondo.

The project envisages the establishment of an internal section within the Association composed of companies founded or led by entrepreneurs or managers from Belluno and located abroad.

The section will have the same characteristics as the other trade sections, with its own board, its own president and its own representation within the general council.

The initiative takes on significant importance with a view to promoting new business relations, partnerships and collaborations of the provincial industrial system with companies operating in various parts of the world.

The aim of the project is to foster and develop a new form of networking between companies that can combine potential business objectives with synergies of cultural and social value in order to strengthen the relationships of entrepreneurs working abroad with their communities of origin.

For Lorraine Berton, president of the Belluno industrialists, 'starting from here, we can create new synergies and look to the future together, aware of our past and ready for future challenges in the social and economic fields. It is a pact that, precisely in these dark and uncertain days, we need to reinforce by looking to the world and reaffirming the values of peace and sustainable development'. The president of Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti then said she was certain that 'this path will take us far and will also strengthen us in view of the 2026 Olympics.
