Start Energy Release 2.0

25 November, 10 a.m, Confindustria organises the webinar "Starting Energy Release 2.0".an appointment dedicated to companies and stakeholders to deepen all operational aspects of the measure.

On 19 November 2025, the operating rules and contract outlines of the measure Energy Release 2.0an essential step to finally make operational an instrument awaited by the industrial system. The definition of these elements concludes a complex path, which required the adaptation of the instrument to the comfort letter from the European Commission. This marks an important step, which finally makes it possible to launch a strategic measure for Italian industry, capable of combining support for energy-intensive companies and the development of renewable sources, while contributing to national energy security.

The mechanism, which provides early access to renewable energy at a capped price of €65/MWh for three years, is indispensable to safeguard the competitiveness of Italy's energy-intensive businesses. The start of contracts by 2025, retroactive to 1 January, and auctions for new renewable plants outline a virtuous model that combines competitiveness, cost stability for industry and new investments in clean production.

The webinar, reserved for Associations and Associated Companies, will be an opportunity to discuss with the MASE and the GSE all aspects of the measure and receive the necessary support for its operation.
