Next 17 February, at Casa Italia at the Milan Triennale, there will be a presentation of the new issue of Journal of Economic Policy, one of Italy's oldest economic journals, a reference point in the national and international economic debate. The event, promoted by Confindustria and produced with the support of Intesa Sanpaolo, is dedicated to the theme “Milan Cortina 2026: the economy of sport and the mountains”.”.
In the midst of the XXV Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, scheduled across a territory stretching from Milan to Cortina, The event represents an opportunity to discuss some of the main economic, social and territorial dynamics related to major sporting events, with a particular focus on their medium to long term effects on the production system, territories and development models.
This issue of the magazine addresses these topics. through a detailed analysis that intertwines sport, investment, sustainability, innovation and territorial transformations, offering a multidisciplinary interpretation of key phenomena in contemporary economic debate.
