Innovation fund information day

On 29 January 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m., the National Info Day will be held. on the Innovation Fund. Ororganised by Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and by Confindustria, the event is dedicated to new financing opportunities to support the decarbonisation of production systems.

The event will be held at the Confindustria headquarters in Viale dell'Astronomia, exclusively in person and until the hall is full, will be an opportunity to present the contents of the New Innovation Fund call for proposals – IF-Technologies for Net Zero, launched on 4 December 2025, with a total budget of €2.9 billion from EU ETS revenues, together with the auction IF25 Hydrogen Auction (€1.3 billion) and the new pilot auction IF25 Heat Auction (€1 billion), dedicated to the decarbonisation of industrial process heat.

During the proceedings, European and national experts will illustrate eligibility requirements, i selection criteria and the main changes to the calls for proposals, providing useful operational guidelines for the preparation of effective and competitive project proposals.

In the afternoon, companies that have already developed a project proposal will also be able to participate in guidance discussions with experts from CINEA and DG CLIMA, encouraging direct discussion and networking among participants.
