On 12 November, the new Erasmus+ Programme Guide 2026 by the European Commission.
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It represents a strategic tool for strengthening vocational training and promoting the acquisition of skills required by the labour market, thereby supporting the competitiveness of the production system.
Capacity-building projects in the field of vocational education and training (VET) fall under Key Action 2. These are international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of VET in EU Member States and third countries associated with the programme, and third countries not associated with the programme. They aim to support the relevance, accessibility and responsiveness of VET institutions and systems as a driver of sustainable socio-economic development.
Through joint initiatives promoting cooperation between different regions of the world, this action aims to strengthen the capacities of VET providers to better collaborate and jointly develop responsive VET measures.
In particular, the action aims to:
- develop the capacity of VET providers to strengthen cooperation between public and private stakeholders in the field of vocational education and training in order to undertake demand-driven and opportunity-based VET measures;
- improving the quality of VET and its responsiveness to economic and social developments in order to enhance the relevance of skills provision to the labour market;
- aligning VET provision with local, regional and national development strategies.
The maximum grant per project is €500,000.
The deadline is 26 March 2026, 17:00 (Brussels).
