Confindustria welcomes the legislator's initiative to bring attention back to the issue of participation of workers and their representatives in the life of the company, especially in this historical moment in which companies are continuously exposed to transition phenomena which, in various ways, have inevitable repercussions on the management of production and thus also on employment.
Current production requirements - and, reasonably, also future ones - suggest that flexible management policiesbased on a logic of collaboration with the workforceThis can be done in such a way as to consciously enhance relations within companies, in a way that is not standardised but consistent with the degree of maturity of the relations that characterise each reality. Only in this way can participation be a useful tool to increasing the competitiveness of Italian companieswithout slowing down and hindering its decision-making processes.
To spread the culture of participation more effectively, it is good to strengthen the system of existing incentives, aimed at fostering the adoption of flexible forms of participation that make business performance a common interest and that aim to involve work and business towards shared objectives and responsibilities.
