The update note examines the contents of the Budget Law 2025 (Law No. 207 of 30 December 2024), published in the Official Gazette on 31 December 2024.

The Manovra, in the version presented by the Government, had appeared deficient on the side of industrial policy and support for investments and businesses. While appreciating the focus on public accounts, Confindustria had therefore pointed out the need for strengthening on these aspects.

The parliamentary scrutiny changed the basic tone of the measure by partially rebalancing it in response to the demands of Confindustria.

The attached note analyses the main measures introduced or amended during the parliamentary process, including those on which further discussion with the government will be necessary.
