Confindustria shares the impulse for transparencyby companies on sustainability information, an objective that underpins the CSRD and the measure before Parliament.

 At the same time, during the preparatory work leading up to it, Confindustria focused on a number of issues with a significant impact on companies, starting with the penalty system envisaged for cases of non-compliance with the new reporting obligations.

Some of these observations, shared with other representative organisations, have been taken into account. However, Uncertainties remain that should be clarified to ensure a balanced implementation of the new discipline, which avoids imposing too heavy a burden on companies called upon to adapt, while at the same time seeking measures and operational solutions to support them in this process.
