The crisis due to the conflict in Ukraine affects an already worsening picture due to the continuing pandemic, upward pressure on prices and shortages of various commodities, resulting in slowdowns in some supply chains.

In this context, the decree-law intervenes by launching measures aimed at containing energy prices and addressing the situation of exceptional instability in the national natural gas system. However, Confindustria pointed out at the hearing the need for more structural and ambitious measures, putting forward a series of proposals to strengthen the scope and effects of the measure.
