Confindustria submitted a memorandum on the proposed directive updating the limit values for certain carcinogens, mutagens and substances toxic to reproduction.

While agreeing with the objective of strengthening the protection of workers' health, the Association emphasised the need to ensure a balanced and sustainable approach for companies, proposing adjustments on the limits for cobalt, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and welding fumes, and asking for more technical clarifications and adequate transitional periods for the implementation of the new provisions.
