Confindustria agrees with the contents of the resolution. Labour market policies must be oriented more in favour of active policies, rather than so-called 'passive policies', and it is essential to introduce careful monitoring and measurement of the effects of the activities implemented, also in order, as the resolution correctly points out, to promptly make any corrections to the choices made.

Particularly opportune then is the measurement of the public value generated, also to allow for the proper participation of the private sector in the implementation of active policies. The participation of private employment agencies in the development programme of active policies in Italy is indeed crucial, given the constant relationship they have with the business world.

Finally, it is essential that any initiative on the implementation of active policies be accompanied by an overcoming of the excessive fragmentation of the institutions, also through the creation of a single information system that can effectively and rapidly put all the institutions concerned in contact.
