Confindustria is called upon to express its opinion on a Project proposed by the Senate Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on working conditions in Italy, on exploitation and safety in the workplace, aimed at promoting more effective governance of complex systems and at foster a widespread positive safety culturethe subject of the Commission's Interim Activity Report of 18 September 2024.

The initiative takes its cue from some security protocols adopted in particularly complex situations (construction of the M4 Milan Metro and contracts in the logistics sector in Lombardy), qualified as successful experiences and, as such, to be replicated and disseminated, including through a subsequent act of address to be submitted to the Senate Assembly.

Confindustria then makes some remarks on the Project and the safety protocols from which it takes its cue, providing some suggestions.

More generally, Confindustria considers it appropriate to make further considerations on occupational safety issues.
