Confindustria System
The Association System represents the largest and most articulated network representing Italian manufacturing and service companies. Founded on a voluntary and private basis, it is structured in 210 organisations that together guarantee a widespread presence in economic sectors and territories, with different perimeters, in Italy and abroad. Through this network, Confindustria is able to offer its member companies support services, networking opportunities and protection of interests at various levels.
Organisational model
The confederal organisational model of Confindustria aims to combine the institutional structure and product articulation of the economic-productive system with a functional profile that meets the needs of enterprises.
Territorial Associations and sector Associations and Federations, to which companies directly adhere, as well as sector Representations that carry out processes of transformation of their organisational profile, are members of the system, as effective Members of Confindustria, with a variable and not predefined perimeter.
Other components of the association system are the Regional Representations, Sector Representations, International Representations and Aggregate Members.
Regional Representations
They ensure dialogue with the regional institutional system for all thematic areas assigned to their competence.
Territorial Associations
They represent companies and carry out their activities with reference to their area of competence.
International Representations
They are associations established abroad or aimed at internationalisation in a specific geographical area.
Evolved Representations
They are sector representations that activate evolutionary processes towards the sector federation model.
Sector Representations
These components are made up of sector associations, or with mixed formulas of internal organisation validated by Confindustria, with membership also of organisations not directly associated with the system, territorial product sections, individual large companies.
Sector Associations
They represent the companies and carry out their actions with reference to the production/manufacturing area of competence.
Sector Federations
They are characterised by a federative organisational structure. They represent companies and carry out their actions with reference to the production/manufacturing area of competence.
Aggregate Associates
They express interests that do not fall within the confederal representation perimeter but have elements and characteristics of affinity that make an organisational link with Confindustria appropriate.
