Social Media Policy
The Social Media Policy defines the rules of conduct to be observed on the social channels of Confindustria - General Confederation of Italian Industry.

On Twitter it is possible to tweet, retweet and comment on published content in compliance with the rules set out in this Social Media Policy. It is also possible to interact with the Staff, both publicly and through direct messages. Confindustria is not responsible for other accounts referred to it on Twitter.

On Facebook, it is possible to share and comment on published content in accordance with the rules laid down in this Social Media Policy. It is also possible to interact with the Staff, both publicly and through private messages. Confindustria is not responsible for other accounts referred to it on Twitter.

On Instagram, it is possible to share and comment in accordance with the rules set out in this Social Media Policy. It is also possible to interact with the Staff, both publicly and through private messages. Confindustria is not responsible for other accounts referred to it on Instagram.

The Confindustria YouTube channel is Confindustria
On the YouTube channel it is possible to share and comment in accordance with the rules set out in this Social Media Policy. It is also possible to interact with the Staff publicly. Confindustria is not responsible for other accounts referred to it on Youtube.
The social channels are managed by the Confindustria Communication Area.
Unless otherwise indicated, any social profiles of Confindustria's top management and staff are managed exclusively in a personal capacity.
CONTENTS
Through its social channels, Confindustria provides information on the main activities and news concerning the Association: publications and official documents, studies, national, territorial and category initiatives and events, institutional images and videos. The information disseminated on the social channels is general, non-exhaustive and refers to projects and initiatives of the Confindustria System at national, territorial and category level.
Social channels are for information purposes only and are not dedicated to direct assistance to users/members. For assistance and services from Confindustria, please consult the Association's website: www.confindustria.it
The possible presence of advertising content on the margins of the social media pages used by Confindustria is managed independently by the administrators of the individual platforms and is not under the control of the Association.
RULES OF USE, CONVERSATION AND MODERATION
The content published by users expresses the opinion of individuals and not that of Confindustria, and everyone will be responsible for the content they publish and the opinions they express.
Confindustria invites users to a conversation:
polite: users are asked to express their opinions with fairness and restraint and to respect the opinions of others. Insults, vulgarity, insults, threats and scaremongering and/or attitudes that harm people's dignity and reputation will not be tolerated;
Relevant: discussions are related to specific topics; therefore, each participant is invited to stick to the subject of the discussion and not to broaden the discussion in a generic and indiscriminate way. Furthermore, the social channels of Confindustria cannot be used for personal needs and no form of advertising, spam or promotion of private interests or illegal activities will be tolerated;
Respectful: content published must be lawful. Content that promotes or supports illegal activities, violates copyright and misuses a registered trademark is not allowed. Furthermore, people's privacy must be respected at all times, and references to facts or details that have no public relevance and/or infringe on the personal sphere of third parties must be avoided;
verified: if the published contents are not the expression of one's own ideas, they must report the author's citation or the link to the website that is the source. In any case Confindustria cannot be held responsible for the truthfulness or otherwise of what is posted on its social channels by third parties.
Confindustria will remove any content that violates this Social Media Policy or any applicable law and will ban or block the responsible user, after notifying the managers of the platform used. Confindustria also reserves the right to report the user responsible for any violations to the competent authorities.
Confindustria's social channels are moderated systematically from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 19:00, with a presence in the evening hours and on public holidays.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
The processing of users' personal data complies with the policies in use on the platforms used (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
Personal data included in comments, posts or other public content will be removed without notice.
Data shared through private messages sent directly to Confindustria's social channels will be processed in compliance with personal data protection regulations and Confindustria's Privacy Policy.
