Marco Nocivelli
Vice President for Industrial Policy and Made in Italy

Marco Nocivelli was born in Verolanuova (BS) in 1966.

Since March 2019, he has been President of Anima (Federation of National Associations of the Miscellaneous and Related Mechanics Industry).

After classical studies, he graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in Industrial Technology Engineering with an Economic-Organisational focus and began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

In 1995, he moved to France where he became Director of the Vendôme production site.

In 2000, he returned to Italy to become CEO of Costan, a company in the family group.

Since 2005, he has been responsible for the internationalisation of the Epta Group and in 2011 he became its Managing Director. Since 2016, he has also been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, which, under his leadership, achieves more than 1,400 million in turnover with more than 7,000 people spread across its 11 production sites and more than 60 branches.

Since his return to Italy, he has actively participated in the associative life of Confindustria: he was President of Assofoodtec (Italian Association of Manufacturers of Machinery, Plants, Equipment for Food Production, Processing and Preservation) and of Assocold (Italian Manufacturers of Cooling Technology).

In 2015, he was appointed Vice-President of ANIMA (Federation of National Associations of the Miscellaneous and Related Mechanics Industry) with responsibility for Economic Relations. Then in 2019 he was elected President of the association, a position that was renewed in 2023 for a further two-year term.

Among other awards, in 2015 he received the 'Di Padre in Figlio - il gusto di fare impresa' (From Father to Son - the taste of doing business) award in the 'Internationalisation' category, which was renewed in 2023 with the first prize overall, and in 2017 he won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Family Business category.

In 2020 he was made a Knight of Labour.
