The Giornate National Open Enterprises of Confindustria

Rome, 13 November 2025 - Tomorrow kicks off the 24th Enterprise Culture Weekthe national initiative promoted by Confindustria e Museimpresa which every year celebrates and enhances the cultural, social and creative heritage preserved in Italian companies. An event spread throughout the country, aimed at recounting the history, identity and enterprise of the Italian production system, highlighting the deep bond that unites companies to the people and territories in which they operate.

From 14 to 28 NovemberThanks to the commitment of the organisations in the Confindustria system and the company museums and archives associated with Museimpresa, a rich calendar of events, exhibitions, meetings, guided tours and testimonials will offer the opportunity to discover how companies - large, medium and small - are today places of innovation, memory and vision for the country's future.

The theme chosen this year 'TELLING ENTREPRENEURSHIP. To make open and connected enterprises grow', is an invitation to value a dynamic corporate culture, rooted in the territories and close to the people.

The Business Culture Week is an opportunity to reflect on the identity and role of business as a cultural and social actor. Through the tale of enterprise, the initiative promotes an open and inclusive vision of corporate culturecapable of generating shared value and building bridges between generations, territories and communities.

This edition is enriched with a new initiative by Confindustria: the National Open Day. Companies open their doors to students, citizens, institutions and the media to show the heart of production: processes, people, values. An important opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between business and society and make visible the contribution of companies to the economic, cultural and sustainable growth of the country. A widespread and itinerant experience that will cross the entire national territory during the Enterprise Culture Weeks: The central event will take place on 21 November at Poggipolini Speed Up Lab in San Lazzaro di Savena, Bologna.

Businesses are true communities: places where tradition merges with innovation, generations meet, form and, together, build the future. Outside the family - stressed the President of Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini -, they represent the largest aggregating nucleus where the value of work becomes social cohesion and shared progress. They are not only economic engines. They generate widespread wellbeing, contribute in a decisive way to the development of territories and support the national welfare: in Italy, the 250 thousand companies with more than ten employees guarantee about 80% of the country's welfare, a little known fact that deserves greater awareness. Confindustria is at their side to enhance their role and defend the centrality of business as a pillar of economic democracy and the country's growth. And the 'Enterprise Culture Week' and the initiative we are launching this year - 'National Open Enterprise Day' - go exactly in this direction'.

Telling about enterprise means giving voice to an Italy where enterprise becomes a generator of culture, community and future. It is to bring out the value of laboratories, workshops, and factories that design and experiment. In other words, to represent the places where knowledge takes shape, in products and services, where innovation grows on deep human roots. Museums and business archives are engines of this vision, because they preserve stories that become maps of possibilities for new generations' - comment Antonio CalabròPresident of Museimpresa - "Entrepreneurship today is also the ability to wisely use the new languages and tools of Artificial Intelligence to better tell the value of doing business. Being enterprising, after all, means building together - companies, institutions, schools, universities - a vision that looks far ahead. Not only to compete, but to generate wellbeing, inclusion and shared values"..
