System Rules

The Statute, originally approved in 1944 and last amended on 30 May 2023, is the fundamental document of Confindustria. It defines the Confederation's vision and mission, its institutional activities, organisational roles, scope of representation, governance, mandatory requirements for membership, the associative relationship and any other essential elements.

The Rules of Implementation regulate in detail how the provisions of the confederal statute are applied. It translates the statutory principles into concrete procedures, regulating, among others, the formation and termination of the associative bond, election procedures, the functioning of the bodies, the criteria for the allocation of offices and the performance of international representation activities.
