Collaboration between Confindustria and the insurance industry to protect companies from catastrophic risks

Confindustria started a collaboration with Unipol Assicurazioni, Poste Assicura and Intesa Sanpaolo Protezionefor the development of a dedicated insurance solution for member companieswith the aim of offering a coverage against catastrophic risks - as provided for in the Budget Law 2024.

The insurance product is produced by Unipol Assicurazioni and risk coverage is co-insured with Poste Italiane Assicura and Intesa Sanpaolo Protezione.

A system project for business security and resilience

The initiative stems from the desire to build a insurance solution to protect the national productive fabric from the economic and social effects of catastrophic events by providing companies with a concrete instrument of protectioncapable of strengthening the resilience of the industrial system.

Advantageous conditions for member companies

Thanks to a dedicated digital platformcompanies belonging to the Confindustria system can access favourable economic conditionsdesigned to make insurance cover more accessible. The project represents a strategic transition which enhances the association's role as a system interlocutor and link between companies, institutions and the insurance market.

The project was presented as part of the event "Catastrophic Policies - A Solution for Business'.which took place on 3 November 2025.

The project is dedicated to member companies of Confindustria. To request a dedicated quote you must register in the reserved area of the Confindustria portal as an associated enterprise by entering the VAT number.
