On 4 June, the Council of Ministers approved the annual market and competition bill for 2025, which is being examined by the Senate in the Committee on Industry, Commerce, Tourism, Agriculture and Agri-Food Production (AS 1578).
The DDL regulates sensitive sectors for the competitiveness of the national economic system, with measures on local public services, electric mobility, regional public transport, airports, health, technology transfer and professions.
This note illustrates the contents of the DDL of greatest interest to businesses, highlighting the critical interpretative and operational aspects of some measures and formulating proposals for amendments and additions in this regard (e.g. on local public services, accreditation and contracting for the provision of health and sociomedical services on behalf of and at the expense of the National Health Service, technology transfer).
