The Giuseppina Mai Foundation, in collaboration with the Bracco Foundation, STEAMiamoci-Assolombarda, Space Work Srl and with the support of Fondimpresa, and Chiesi Farmaceutici Spa launched the third edition of the 'Women in STEM' call for proposals, aimed at female students enrolled in the first year of a Master's degree course in the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for the academic year 2024/2025.
The initiative stems from the realisation that although women represent the majority among new university entrants in Italy, their incidence in STEM disciplines is still lower than that of men. Supporting female students in these fields means not only promoting gender equality, but also investing in the future of innovation and research.
The scholarship award ceremony will be held 21 October 2025, in Milan.
The winners of the 2025 Call for Proposals grants are:
Virginia Manna
Simona Colasanti
